Miya Woolfalk

BOARD MEMBER

With over 15 years of experience in political science and civic engagement research, Miya Woolfalk currently serves as the Managing Director of Research, Programs, and Partnerships at Analyst Institute. During her tenure at Analyst Institute, Miya has overseen its research and community learning teams, cultivated vital partnerships, provided data-driven guidance to practitioners and funders, and spearheaded numerous research projects to advance evidence-informed decision-making and a culture of learning within the civic engagement and progressive community.

Before joining Analyst Institute, Miya earned her Ph.D. in Government and Social Policy from Harvard University and subsequently served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Wellesley College. Her academic career focused on research and teaching in the fields of U.S. political behavior, racial and ethnic politics, and social policy and inequality.

Originally from New York, Miya now lives in Colorado. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and indulges her passions for the great outdoors, good food, and singing.
